my only impression about Pierre was: he was my hall mate back in Kent Ridge Hall, as well as my faculty mate of the same matriculated batch. we attended classes and lectures together sometimes.
he was a very brilliant student and a very helpful course mate, he even helped me in one of the modules i sucked at simply because we stayed in the same residence and we were going to the same faculty, and he happened to see me doing my revisions.
and if my memories serve me right, he was a pretty humorous guy too, and always trying to cheer the people around him, though i never really understand his jokes back then. during the stay in the same residence hall, he also had been a very active member at the hall activities as well as among the hall mates, often, you can see him hanging around in the block garden as well as the community area with the other hall mates.
Though haven’t seen him since our graduation, the news of him leaving us unexpectedly still put a hard blow on me when i heard it from another ex hall mate. despite of not seeing him for a while, we crossed each other’s lives once, and i always believe that it wasn’t easy at all to just crossed someone else’s life given the billions of population.
Last but not least, I would love to extend my deepest condolence to Pierre’s Family and Relatives, people whom he loved and loves him.
check out the news from Yale’s Daily as well as The New Straits Times
it would be very much appreciated if you want to leave a message for Pierre, you can do this by going to his Memorial Page
May you rest in peace, You’ll be missed until we meet again.
